Stuffed Mushrooms or Shrimp Cocktail?

I thought I would start with an appetizer. You know, like a pre-course to the main dish, aka my thrilling blog entries.

Here are some background tidbits that might give some insight on what future posts could pertain to:

  • I love to talk. Watch out for wordiness and rambling. Remember that I warned you later.
  • I am a strong Christian and make a daily effort to grow my relationship with God.
  • I have a massive family. Like, it's huge. We alone have enough going on to have our own reality show. We could make millions. Business Venture idea #1.
  • Speaking of business, I am currently obtaining my MBA from Manderson Graduate School of Business at the University of Alabama. It pretty much consumes my life, but in a good way. Business nerd, for sure.
  • I am happily engaged to Trent and we are getting married May 26, 2012. Therefore, I am in the process of planning a wedding. Will try my best to leave all of the soppy wedding details out. I said "try."
  • Very blessed to have an amazing set of friends who are all going and doing exciting things. I like to brag on them.
  • I love to read, though I rarely have time to anymore.
  • Music is great. Although I am bad at finding it, I am pretty much open to anything but Nickleback and heavy metal (screaming). If I could sing, you would never shut me up.
  • Amateur cook. In the process of becoming a chef through, "Lessons by Stacey."
  • About to be at a big transition point in life, so I am constantly thinking about the future and what it may hold.
  • I am a graduate assistant at the career center where I consult students about career topics including resumes, cover letters, interview skills, etc etc. Need help? Hit me up.
  • I love to eat, hate to exercise (good combo, right?). Avid Harry Potter and Twilight fan.
  • True love for non-profit organizations and I believe everyone should give back.
  • I wake up everyday knowing that God has given me a genuine purpose in life. I try to go to sleep knowing that I came one step closer to fulfilling that purpose. The more people I can positively impact along the way, the better.
Ready for the pork chop yet?
